Chrolo´s condition if I remember it good. 1. He must witness the Nen ability in action with his own eyes. 2. He must ask about the ability and be answered by the victim. 3. His victims palm must touch the handprint on the cover of his book. 4. All of the above must be completed within an hour. 5. He must hold book with one hand to use stolen Nen.

Well, the conditions are correct, though the 5th one isn't directly related. The first 4 are the steps needed to steal an ability from its owner. The 5th is more about how he can use the stolen abilities afterwards.

The thing about Chrollo is that he wants strong abilities he can use. The reason he wanted Zeno alive is to torture him so he could steal his Nen Abilities. Also having a hostage against the Zoldycks doesn't hurt him either.

I very much doubt that Zeno would be very susceptible to torture or of any use as a hostage.

@@jled787 you make Chrollo seem pretty naive. Someone with that much experience wouldn't think to use an old, experienced assassin from the most famous assassin family as a hostage.

19:10 "Does that mean he's the strongest?" In terms of raw combat power, not necessarily. In terms of raw strength, Uvo was stronger. I think Phinks and Feitan are also able to give a stronger output at their peak. However, in terms of general fighting ability, he's probably the best one of the Troupe, particularly with his skill stealing ability that makes him very versatile despite the restrictions. (I also say this because he's Hisoka's target. Hisoka wouldn't just be satisfied with fighting the second best or something. He's aiming for the top.) But that is not what makes him the boss. He's intelligent and charismatic. He plans meticulously, can evaluate difficult situations quite accurately... He's a leader before being a fighter, though he doesn't shy away from physical confrontation when it suits his purposes. And he's the one who gives direction to the Troupe as a whole. Strength is somewhat related (I don't think the members would respect a weak boss), but he doesn't need to be the strongest. For example, Uvo isn't dumb, but he doesn't have the qualities and personality of a leader. Even if he was stronger than Kurollo, he wouldn't have been the boss.

You are ready for a ride here Luke, HxH is one of the few animes that you cannot predict easily. Also is good to point out that every fight in this show is not to see an epic battle or the good guy winning, all battles here teach you what Nen users are capable off and what are the methods to approach them. Chrollo, Silva and Zeno really put in perspective what a battle of high Nen users should be, and how future battles could be. That's the beautiful thing of Nen, is not just a power up, or a ninjutsu or a random alchemy trick, is a complex and realistic system with many variants and variables depending of the person.

Yeah, base stats have a role to play, but it's usually more important to be smart about how you use your powers and how you handle your enemy's powers.

About Chrollo trying to capture the Zoldycks, it's not exactly a matter of respect but the desire to steal their Nen abilities. Just as gramps noted, the stealing technique has several conditions which are difficult to clear during an active fight. So, Chrollo was hoping to capture the Zoldycks since it'd be easier to clear the conditions and get hold of their abilities.

Nostrade absolutely treats his daughter as a possession he really likes. It's because he sees nothing more than her ability to make him money, and if she's not safe/happy she doesn't tell fortunes and he doesn't make money.

This fight is a pretty good example of what an upper level nen user fight is like. A constant game of cat and mouse where each attack could start a down-spiral if it lands, and while knowing how the enemies ability works is an advantage, it is not that big of a disadvantage if you don't know anything beyond the vaguely obvious.

04:15 Luke, rooting for children fighting adults. You'll get it, eventually. But for now, remember that they are way below the minimum level to fight the Troupe. Pretty sure they wouldn't even measure up to the Shadow Beasts, if that was still an option. 04:54 "That's a lot of anime." Not a reason to be waiting for it so impatiently, as these children are still miles away from competing with these adults. Then again, if we're not talking about an outright fight, there are options, like what we've had when they got captured.

Because his Main channel videos are him recording videos himself , the videos on this channel are streamed on twitch first before being edited by an editor so Luke uses different visuals for twitch. Luke also just moved house so videos recorded older will be in the attic of his old house and newer ones in his new house

It's still too early for us to see that level of combat. Because the main characters still only know how to use basic nen. That's what I love about this anime.
