Chrome Citizen Review

I have one of these bags, I actually bought mine back in 1995 and I still have it. This bag protected my stuff through an 8 hour rain riding a Motorcycle from San Francisco to Portland OR in near horizontal rain. After that 8 hour ride and finding a motel to rest, I opened this bag only to find all of my packed clothes and packaged food DRY AS A BONE!!! I also used to have a Timbuk2 messenger bag but gave that away after this bone dry incident and from then on! All of my purchased bags were ALL Chrome bags.

I have two different citizen bags actually. I'm 5'8" the Citizen is a great sized bag. I have a regular AND a Night Citizen as well. a mini would really be too small and you'd be wanting more space immediately. once you start using it you'll probably want more space. I'm borrowing a friends Metropolis right now. ample spacing. but then you ask yourself, just bc i can carry more. Do I NEED to? probably not. but with a Metorpolis you can put your helmet it in there when you're not riding. cheers!

depends on how much your're carrying. if you have a heavy load, then after a while there'll be strain. I personally prefer a backpack style now

I currently rock the mini metro. I find it to be too small for everyday use. So, I have a Citizen on its way. Thanks for the cool video.

I luv this Chrome bags! It's very durable and nice quality. I crashed on them a few times and it survived just a little scratch but still look the same. check out my vid you can see it... it is a four years old bag.

They are cycling hats, popular amongst cyclist. To some they look kool, while to some snapback hats look ridiculous. Different people different tastes, that's all you need to understand.

im a cyclist, and i dont understand them, they didnt even protect you from the sun because the front part is so little, even a helmet gives more shadow than that, so whats the point?

metalg33ksolid while I'm not 100% sure of any other functions, i know they are shaped that way so that you can easily wear a helmet on top of them.. maybe also to better collect sweat from the brow while your riding, even if you have a helmet on..

Sorry. Not stupid drivers. Stupid cyclists. You are not on a "vehicle". Majority of cyclists don't stop at red lights or stop signs. Don't signal. Go the wrong way on one way streets. But want all the perks of driving a vehicle. Sorry man. Two way street. follow all the rules that I have to in a car, then I'll treat you like a vehicle that should be on the road. With all due respect.
