This looks super clean fam! I see you had a bit of overspray on the trim. Was it difficult to remove? And I have a 2013 Nissan Altima that’s getting this done asap! Great vid!

You need to overspray it so that you're able to peel it off after. Plastidip is not hard to remove, but you need to be patient and do it slowly for sure. Appreciate it brother!👊🏽

@@speedlimit233mph”over spray” refers to the application of paint, onto an unintended location.

Question, I have a 2020 Honda Civic SI coupe and the weather guards I got for the window's by weathertech don't seem to fit right? Or am I missing something? Looks like you did it with the windows up?

Yes sir, windows up. Mine fits perfectly, make sure you ordered the right one. Thanks for watching!👊🏽

Looks nice! Would it be better to remove the chrome trim of and them spray them on the ground?

I haven't seen anyone removing these trims and I won't try it. This is the best way to do it or use vinyl wrap, as far as I know. Thanks for watching this video man!👌🏽

I tried to vinyl wrap my moldings. I didn't care for how it looked. I ended up peeling it all off. How many cans of Plasti dip did you use? I seems to match the rest of the molding that is already black pretty good too.

Hey man, I used one can of plasti dip for each side. I really love the outcome of this simple DIY. It's more aggressive looking for sure. Thank you for watching this video bro!

I am going to have to pick up another can then. Thanks for the heads up and your response.
