Individual with history of brain tumor resection and left-sided hemiparesis of ~30 years. Lumbar pathology resulting in right-sided radiculopathy to areas of L3-L5 innervation. Left lower extremity is 1/2" functionally shorter than the right side.

What is the survival rate for people with hemiparesis either from strok or other neurological issues ?

Hemiparesis is a symptom that would not have an impact on survival of an individual. For the survival rates for individuals suffering from specific neurological diagnoses, I would recommend consulting organizations that focus on that diagnosis. One example for people suffering from a stroke is the American Stroke Association: www.stroke.org

@@MissionGait There are few information on internet about it , also medical doctors know little about it. I have vitamin b6 toxicity which cause mild hemiparesis in my left side . That's why I asked if these symptoms affect survival of someone.

Hey if I survived a brain tumour for 30 years I could live with a bit of hemiparesis! I have a grade II astrocytoma so I'll be lucky to live another 5-10 years lol.
