Here is how I eat bananas without the texture issue:Freeze a banana solid. Put banana in a food processor, process until crumbly, add a spoon of peanut butter, then continue to process until it becomes a soft serve consistency. Eat or freeze a bit more. :)

Doctors like that are so great. Mine has come down to hospital at 1am to take me to my friends who could give me better care and a recovery space than the hospital did - i was near catatonic and she helped me take my meds, eat, and put me to bed. Shes given me food, helped me get answers, and I honestly wouldnt have survived without her.

100% true about chronic pain warriors being able to smile and hide how bad we hurt! I have multiple chronic illnesses that cause chronic pain and because of that I'm in pain, literally, 24/7. Some days I can "play it off" (pretend) for a while but it's hard. And most of my days are spent in bed because the pain is so bad I just can't cope. It's very frustrating.

I just spoke to my 11 yr old foster son about the importance of not interrupting a service dogs work unless the owner allows the dog to get attention from some one at the time. I have been teaching this to all my young foster children that come in.. we see a lot of service dogs where I am from and I am well aware of what their job is.. but not all are. I am in love with Harlow.. she is such a sweet sweet dog.

I often see an older lady shopping in our local grocery store who has a service dog. I found out she's not deaf or blind; she can talk; & of course I have no intention of invading her privacy, so I would never give in to my natural nosy tendency to inquire of her why she has a service dog. She just happens to have one of those many "invisible" disabilities which requires the valuable aid of a service dog. One time she passed by me where I was sitting waiting for a taxi. She went past me so close that her dog brushed against me, & she politely said, "Sorry." I assured her it was no problem. She didn't stop to chat. I enjoy watching a service dog in action! It's a very impressive reminder of the intelligence we often underestimate many dogs to have been blessed with!

Thank you thank you thank you!! Was really struggling this past week with my illnesses and tonight I just broke down and cried, I just hurt so much and just had to let it all out. But then your video tonight came online and as I watched it, I laughed all the way through, got teary again but in a good way as I watched you and Judd having such fun plus gorgeous Harlow of course. Best two moments of the video? #1) Watching you Jaquie as you concentrated so hard on what item to buy and ending up with the pink jellycat...(I know it's a toy/friend but exactly what is a jellycat? I'm from Sydney Australia here so please excuse my ignorance lol) #2) Judd, watching you run out of the truck, up on the big red chair and immediately slide back just as Jaquie did the other day, hilarious :). I just had to laugh out loud, so thank you for that :) I appreciate your honesty in sharing your lives with us and I look forward to sharing many more adventures with you all :) Ohhhh thank you for making me smile through the tears .. Anne :)

I'm so happy to see another adult who isn't afraid to have stuffed animal comfort objects and admit it. I still have two of my stuffies on my bed every night: Simba, my lion, and Sasha, my dragon (who I knitted myself.) Simba makes me feel better when I'm sad, and Sasha is particularly special, because I used to be afraid of a lot of things but now I'm not because I have a dragon to protect me.

I know the rule of not suggesting diets, and this is NOT a diet, it was a small idea for Harlow. My dog has not gone raw, yet, but I loved to make home made treats and such, so I thought I'd give you my favorite recipe if you wanted to try it! I hope you enjoy! (Or anyone else in the comments) Frozen PeanutButter-Banana Treats -Ingredients ~2 over ripe bananas ~1 cup Greek yogurt ~1/2 cup peanut butter -Instructions 1) Mash up the bananas 2) Mix in the remaining ingredients. (Microwaving the peanut butter for about 15 seconds helped make it easier to get out of the measuring cup and when mixing) 3) Poor them into, a silicone tray 4) Freeze overnight 5) Give them, their yummy snack ❤🍨🐶 (I also use lowfat, and natural yogurts and peanutbutter, so I thought you could maybe have it in her raw diet) Hope you see this comment, have a wonderful day, and a fantastic adventure. ~~Keep moving Forward~~

I also have something simple to the jelly cats! I collect larg ty with the small button eyes. I got my first one when I was 18months and it was a green ty hippo you can look it up on amazon. I also have a white with pink pokadots. but when I got them I was in the children's hospital for my hip displaysha (i don't know how it's spelled) but I have to go back to the hospital and plan on being them too to get an ultra sound for my gulbladder and too see if my pancreas is eating it's self

I also have a sensory processing disorder due to autism and I find using one on them yoga balls really helps. You just sit on them and bounce. I don't know if this will be helpful due to EDS and POTS since EDS can sometimes cause pain and POTS can sometimes give you fatigue but on your good days It can be useful. I also have EDS and POTS. On my good day I use a yoga ball. It is good exercise too.

The only way I'll eat bananas is if they're cut up and frozen. I don't like the texture of them in my mouth either.
