*ALL ABOUT PAWS GROOMING COURSE* girlwiththedogs.com/all-about-paws

How about a "how to do a sanitary trim" course? After paws, I think that's one a lot of people might appreciate. At least those with fluffy dogs. According to my vet, Miss Fluffy Britches, my Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix, should be getting regular sanitary trims of her booty fluff. She has a nasty UTI right now. Problem is, she's very afraid of the vet and I'm assuming will fear groomers too. And where I live, they want $100 just to do the sanitary trim, nothing else. Not even including a nail trim.

With my lack of Dexterity, meaning the flexibility of my arms and hands, I would not even try it! At least, with our dogs, we never had to do their nails. The Sidewalk wore them down enough. In so far as Toe Pads, I had never seen or heard of that done until I started watching your videos. I guess, that would have taken care of their, "Popcorn Paws"! (They always smelled like popcorn.).

I don't think the owners groomed his coat on a regular basis. I had two Pyrenees and they do take a lot of maintenance, bathing and drying would take all day. As soon as we finished, we would let her go outside, she would then roll around in the dirt or mud then stand up with a look of complete satisfaction on her face. The male on the other hand would go outside, do the necessary, come back into the house with a look of arrogance and snobbery all over his face. This made us laugh because when she comes back into the house, the look he gave her was a look of .........'you disgust me, don't come near me'.😂😂😂😂 Ps They both passed away a long time ago but I still miss them.

She survived initially, but when she went to check and smell my boyfriend after help had arrived, she chose to pass along with him when she found he had gone. I lost my family on December 1st. Polar protected our mountain, our cats and chickens, our plants, and of course, she was committed to my honey & I. I miss them and can barely get by without them. There are some videos on my channel of her on our mountain and following along the atv, laying in the water...I miss them so much. Pyrenees are protectors & lovers.

Another time I went down to pay rent but I tripped down the stairs. Stood up to get pinned against my (hot) landlord's front door yelling Jeffffff! getting humped by his dog. Many years ago we adopted/rescued a wonderful Great Pyrenees. His name was Noble. We loved that dog, and the lady we got him from was reluctantly giving him up because she lived on a busy city street, and the fence around her yard was less than 3 feet high. If you know anything about this breed, you know that was no obstacle for Noble We lived in the county, and we had a 6 foot privacy fence around our yard. Unfortunately, we learned after a couple of months that Great Pyrenees love to roam! This breed has a lot of floof, but they also can wiggle through a fairly small opening. Noble would butt his head against the fence until he knocked a couple of slats out. All the neighbors knew who Noble was, and I would get calls while at work that he was going walk about. We managed to rehome him to a friend who lived further outside city limits, and 10 years later we still miss him

God bless you for recognizing the need and finding him a good home! And you are on the nose! These dogs are not known for obedience at all, since they already know their job, so off leash and most fences will not work. I've rescued many and the brother of one of mine lives next door and does the "if I can get my nose under, I can get my 110 lbs through" amazing thing! Mine have always had respect for a fence AND are not left out for extremely long periods. And after 15+ years with no issues my 10 yr old has decided to climb the fence. She now has a tracker so I am alerted immediately and she hasn't gotten farther than 4 houses. (She will go weeks doing nothing and then make breaks 2x in one day! There's no predicting it!)I totally understand missing him but am grateful you put his safety first! ❤

I'm retired now but use to work in a groom shop in South Florida called Miracle Workers. You are truly a gifted loving Miracle Worker. I've oftened wondered about the owners when picking up. Please share more of these reactions. It was always one of my favorite parts of my job! ❤God bless you.

I absolutely love this breed. I had two that were Anatolian/Pyr cross. They both had the long fur. The female had the Anatolian colour. The male looked full Pyr. They were awesome dogs. What a beautiful boy he is! ❤

I helped a friend find a new home for their GP a couple of years ago. The new family has 5 children who absolutely adore her. She was a smaller GP and found her forever home. What a gorgeous cloud. Vanessa is an artist!

Poor Nigel looked so happy and carefree when he came in. Then looked like a confirmed bachelor thrown in a tux in that final shot. 😂😂😂
