Sorry to see so many talking down about these amazing statues... I slept on them when they released and would gladly shell out the $ to own them now. They're incredible and even though I primarily collect action figures, there's nothing wrong with having limited museum pieces that are there to be viewed and not played with... that's what the HotToys, etc are for. If you ever lose your marbles and decide to sell these, you'll have a buyer. 😂👌

Anything that Phil Tippett put his name on, I would have figured that this thing would have been completely articulated. This could have been something amazing.

I really love this review. Nice shots. There are deviations between the showed model and the screenused one. For example: on the right side of the head there are four bolts. The top one is golden. Then below there is a silver one. This one is plain in the model. But on screen it has a hole.The third bolt is a silver circle on screen (with a horizontal gap in the center). The model has just a plain grey area. You find this grey area on screen only when the non-movable lifesize prop is showed. So what I see here is a model that is a mixture of the two different (and very different looking) model types (animation puppet and 1:1 prop) that they used to make the movie. In addition the two silver covers on the lower body look different to the screen: the screenused covers have a ring and a screw in the center. The models covers are just plain circles. Not bad, but not quite perfect.

There was supposed to be a scene towards the end of Robocop 2 where Robocop was supposed to fight two ED-209s but the sequence was scrapped for some reason.

It's because it's cast from the same moulds as the stop motion puppet. Phil states that in a video.

ED-209 doesn’t have Gatling guns, it has auto canons. The Cain Robot has a Gatling gun.

It looks just like my Hot toys piece lol. Maybe they use the plastic shell and just filled it with concrete and called it a statue. Oh nevermind I just saw its hollow hehe.
