I know exactly how you felt about ED 209 in your childhood years. You hit on the key points that make ED 209 very ominous and terrifying. The growling always got me as a kid and as I watch it now in my 30's it's a great touch even to this day. Such a well made 80's movie. Great review, bro! Thanks!

@9:49 was what I was looking for. Had this toy for about 7 months and JUST NOW noticed the movement there. After closer inspection, I saw the arm and track. This toy continues to surprise me!!💯

Got my ED-209 a few weeks ago. I actually wasn't able to find him in local retail myself, so I ended up ordering him online as well. A very impressive and gorgeous figure. The sound effects just add that much more to it. ED quickly became a favorite figure of mine. A very nice companion piece to the NECA Robocop. (especially the battle-damaged one) If you guys want ED-209, you should get him now while you can. He's going to be a limited run. After that, you will be stuck buying him in after-market, where people are likely to jack up the price. He's already pretty expensive as is.

***** Figures. There are no comic shops around my area and the closest one within driving distance is a way's away. I find that I haven't been able to find a lot of NECA's figures locally recently. Unless my Toys R' Us just isn't getting them in.

Unfortunately Peter Weller won't let his likeness be used for toys. That's why we don't have a modern RoboCop Figure with a Murphy head. I remember having the Kenner RoboCop figure. It had a removable helmet with full Murphy face on it and I'd love to have a movie accurate figure of that today.

Hot Toys did an ED 209 and will be doing a newer one in the upcoming months along with the Die-cast original Robocop in the upcoming months Spider Gremlin was another NECA figure that was released in a box

In the scene when the ED 209 malfuncion and start to aim to the poor guy in their testing,i though how i would react in a situation like that and i was scared to death.The 209 was also one of my most memorable monsters from the 80s as well,and this figurine is awesome one of the best that neca made i believe.Also i would love to see you making a review about hot toys 209,it is maybe the best so far.I wonder if they actually hot toys make some figures about the new film as well.And because i know HT would allready have prepared something,probably they didn't yet made something for the new movie because the old is the best and will be in the end.The kenner piece however it is not made for adult collectible but mostly for toy,and i think you cannot compare it with that one.I would love to have that one in my colection.Dont forget to mention that the artwork from the other side of the box when you turned it was not an artwork but the actual picture of the product.Thanks again for the goot times spot man.

Got this figure in the mail a few weeks ago, and although the sculpt is incredible, I'd say I'm very disappointed with the quality control. The figure is EXTREMELY fragile and unfortunately mine came out straight from the box with a broken left leg. Also there's a couple reviews on Amazon reporting broken arms and torso. So anyone interested to purchase this piece, be careful and ask the seller to check out if the figure is in good condition before shipment.

Hey I’m curious to know are those legs supposed to even move up and down? Because I watch a lot of other videos and people say that the clip will break and that the legs don’t move up and down?

Yes, the leg tracks they move up and down, making ED 209 stand about 2inches taller. But be super super careful with those inner and outer knee flaps. They are easily breakable
