Events in Immoren in the aftermath of the expulsion of the Orgoth from the West.
Addendum - despite the much closer timeframe, there still a somewhat lack of art that is relating to the period in question, and it was a conscious decision to refrain from using proxy art for a lot of the named characters, especially the rulers (for whom there is no art that I am aware of). Weirdly, there was little by way of activity among the Skorne. The savvy will realise that the Cygnaran King Woldred of this era had no recorded epithet, but I doubt anyone would debate that he was worthy of the one that the narrator gives him. Queen Cherize of Khador (the sole ruler represented herein as a Thamarite sorceress) disappeared with no known record of her date of death, but as far as the narrative is concerned, her time of disappearance is as good as her time of death. There is a retcon from the Iron Kingdoms World Guide to the IKRPG Full Metal Fantasy book regarding the rule of Malfast and the lack of mention of his death, which is replaced by a ‘kingless’ era in the latter to reinforce the Khadoran ascendancy in war, but no effort is made to resolve the differences in these accounts. In general, it should be noted that there is a lot of detail missing from this presentation compared to previous instalments and will continue to be the case through to and including coverage of the Modern Era and the timeframe of the Warmachine & Hordes storyline for which this serves as prologue.
