The mountain accents- maybe. The accents of Richmond, Charleston, and Savannah were heavily influenced by Elizabethean English, and fashionable 18th Century London Speech, as well as black speech of the region. They sound very similar to the old "posh" English accents.

Yeah, but everything can't end happily. From the ghetgo, Susan was not into the whole Narnia thing. She was the one, besides Edmund, that wasn't totally feeling it or didn't really believe in it in the beginning. Maybe C.S Lewis was trying to tell his readers that not believing in something SO real, can make you lose everything you once had. That being her family, and her beliefs.

I kinda hope they don't. I mean, it would be AWESOME for Susan to have believed in Narnia all the way to the end... but I think changing it would totally alter what the book is all about. Susan believing in Narnia completely changes the book. She WOULD have died in the crash, she probably would have fought in the battle also, she would have gone to Aslan's land... all these things would have happened, that C.S Lewis was not trying to portray. I think it would ruin it to change it.

erm.. i didn't read the books so i judge these by just watching the films. i have a feeling that susan n caspian are NOT made for each other. its like their romance is sooo lame. i think ben barnes is too old for the role.. i like anna and william though i hate it when peter said he and susan wont be coming back to narnia! my mind was troubled by the statement that i have to rewind the last part of the movie. edmunds more handsome and lucy prettier too. i did miss mr tumnus ;P
