One thing I recommend, is Pilfering (stealing) from bosses with Kid. I always forget this LOL but it is worth doing. I did try and steal from the final boss here but of course, I get nothing :P Please remember to like + subscribe. You missed your steal that's because you are suppose to hit the boss first with kid. Stealing success is based of the precentage of kid's Fierce attack.

If you miss a steal, just run and start over and re-attempt.

The steal rate depends on the % of the 3rd attack...if you attack the boss with the weak (number 1 option and make the 3rd attack %go up it will make the chances of a successful steal go up.....if that makes any sense

I like calling mimics "nope boxes" now thanks to a book series I'm reading Not sure if anyone has pointed it out, but any character that has a portrait when tey speak, is a potential recruit

Fuzzfinger u cam steal from the Sargents to try n get the broze helmet it depends what slot it is set to like rare/common/uncommon. Some steal either 10 or 20 or 30 irons to dismantle them for I think iron.

When finding a mimic if the one outside the battle is small that's the correct one to get the prize and vice versa at least with the classic graphics on.

How did I manage to make it through Viper Manor with the starting weapons, Pierre in the party, and only two white elements, which I didn't even use? On my first playthrough as well.

I found slowing down time helps with the dragon mini game if you are going for 100 feed

Did the Dragon mini game and slowed down the game. One thing I realized was that you can run away from boss fights. So I steal, miss, run away, and try again

Great tip, which I always forget! Trying to empty my mind of Final Fantasy biases can be tough!

I want to say that slowing down for the dragon mini game is cheating. But doing it at normal speed would drive me to insanity. I would however at least do some normal attempts first.

@@isaiahjaxon Most definitely. But that's the way it was meant to be played originally. I vaguely remember attempting it on the PS1 years ago. I don't think I ever got past 20.

I remember getting stuck on Marcy for a while as a kid for some reason But as a kid I didn’t understand the battle system that well or how to get stronger I did that battle just now again and it went by so fast I was like how the heck was I stuck here so much when I was little,lol

I'm sure it isn't helpful now, but may be helpful to future players. the code changes each play thu. Check the wall in the lower kitchen for the right code.

@@YourGFsFavoriteBF funny I tried that and it didn’t work. Then I went back to the left room with Glenn and he was at the wall saying the code again… it was 3 to right 7 to the left for me (the opposite of your numbers) Must be random each time, and if you forgot to write it down the sequence of glen at the wall can be reset somehow after running around for ages I finally got the code and just got thru the door. This level is like a damn maze or rather a complex puzzle, been on it for hours!

Still don’t understand the effect field. If you want the field all red, each character has to use a red element?
