Man, I'm so happy we got to this part! The Kingdom of Zeal was the point for me when I went from "Man, I love this game" to "Man....I REALLY love this game!" Funnily enough, I was so engrossed in your reactions that I don't have much to say. I'll say this though - don't be afraid to theory craft. It's fun, and we'll be sure to keep our mouths shut 😅 And don't worry about viewers losing interest, I think theory crafting (whether right or wrong) builds up the hype for when we eventually reach the answers

11:23 The term "shocked" in the context of Chrono Trigger is actually just an indication that the enemy is still *paralyzed* and can't move. So you didn't have to just use water on the Aecytosaur. 17:34 This here is a *very* long fight even by speedrun standards. Azala (uh-ZAL-uh (this is how I usually pronounce it)) has 2700 HP, 230 defense, and 30 magic defense. If you somehow had the ability to steal before taking on this fight, you could obtain a Magic Capsule. Using powerful light techs, especially techs involving Ayla, can do well in slaying her. As for the Black Tyranno, it has 10500 HP, 253 defense, and 100 magic defense. Once Azala is defeated or inflicted by a status effect such as sleep (common speedrun strat for this fight), it will spend most of its time attacking roughly *six* times before it lowers its defenses to charge up its Tyranno Flame attack. Thunder Chomp does wonders against its HP when its defenses are down. 34:25 On the topic of the "multiple endings," there are total of 12 ending variations (13 for DS, Mobile/iOS, and Steam), and each one is obtained by defeating Lavos in very specific points in the story. Once again, though, I highly recommend as far forward as you can in the story to search for what many consider to be the best ending in the game. 38:39 And here we have one of the few fan-favorite songs: Corridors of Time. 44:31 Remember that mysterious blue pyramid in Medina Village in 1000 AD? Well, I think you'll already know what to do once you get there. 46:53 Whoa. You actually got that on your first try with no hint to boot. You sure got lucky on those damage rolls by the Nus. As you can see, they can sometimes do 0 damage as well instead of reducing your HP to one and then having a 50% chance to follow up by doing 1 damage. ...Too bad my boy Robo has to miss out on so much experience... :( 1:01:00 Remember this spot as well (if you can, of course) for later *times.* 1:05:18 In this small right-hand corner here, there is a hidden capsule you can pick up. You'll know what is if you've obtained it. 1:09:23 Here, we have the introduction of the "triple tech accessories;" the first of which is the Black Gemstone (Black Rock in the SNES/PS1 translations). These triple tech accessories require specific party members that have specific techs of their own, AND one of them MUST be equipped to enable said triple tech. However, it seems that you don't quite have the "requirements" to use this Eternal Darkness (Dark Eternal in the SNES/PS1 translations) at the moment, and what's worse is that there are most likely other moves that more consistent than Eternal Darkness. 1:24:05 Huh. Looks like you forgot to speak this plant lady NPC. Oh, well. 1:25:57 I didn't expect you to remember this, seeing how you can forget things so easily. Nicely done. 1:28:00 Schala's Theme is yet another well-composed track. 1:34:13 However, Lavos' weakness doesn't have to just be the Masamune itself. After all, it's *you* who decides what kind of party should fight Lavos. 1:41:50 This can be a very tough fight if you aren't careful. Dalton's Golem has 7000 HP, 127 defense, and 50 magic defense. As a fun little fact, this battle does not actually have to be won in order to progress through the story, which is why speedrunners would prefer to throw this battle to end it quickly. You played quite well in using magic-based skills against the Golem and not physical skills. Using physical skills will encourage it to use Iron Sphere (cuts a party member's HP in half) and Energy Spheres, which can do crazy amounts of damage. For me, I equipped my party members with Ruby Vests while having Lucca in the party to use fire-based skills so it would copy said fire magic, but the party would just heavily resist the damage. 1:45:40 Lucca's "Protect" tech is basically just Shield Sphere, so it reduces *physical* damage by 1/3. 1:53:47 It looks like you've experienced another case of short-term memory loss, but you managed to figure it out here 1:54:55, lol. Alright, important note to make here: With Marle's now-powered-up pendant, *find EVERY Sealed Chest and Sealed Door that has been taunting you up until this point!* HOWEVER, before you open the Sealed Chest from 600 AD and 1000 AD, here's a little trick you can do with them: *First,* interact with the Sealed Chests in *600* AD. When asked if you'd like to open it, select "No." *Then* go to 1000 AD to interact with that specific chest again to see your results. Once you have obtained your "results," you can go back to 600 AD to obtain what you would've originally gotten. Two for the price of one, aye? I would recommend saving before doing this trick, though. Here's a list of where to find *most* of the Sealed Chests in case if you forgot the locations: - 600 AD (Interact with the Sealed Chests in this time period, but don't immediately open them unless interacting with them gives you the item immediately) - Truce Inn Guardia Forest - Contains Speed Capsule. Guardia Castle Porre Elder's House Magic Cave - 1000 AD - Truce Inn Guardia Forest Porre Elder's House Forest Ruins Heckran Cave And here's the location of the Sealed Doors of 2300 AD: Bangor Dome Trann Dome Arris Dome

Okay so you can open all sealed chests now and the pyramid in the monster city there are exactly four sealed chests you can currently access that exist in two time periods you need to examine them in 600 and then open them in 1000 they are located 1 in the castle 2 are in the mayors house in Porre? (can't remember if that is how the town is spelt) and one in the inn at the main town there are a bunch of other sealed chests about though and I've seen you got a list from another commenter also all sealed doors in the future are available to be opened also there are more sealed chests later in the game that can be powered up the same way I mentioned that contain one character's best weapon, another character's good weapon and the best armor for the guys so remember the rule of check and do not open the chest in 600 open the chest in 1000 then and only then return to 600 again to retrieve the lesser reward.

You can get the sealed chests now that you have the restored pendant. Protip: Some of the chests exist in 2 time periods. Make sure to pick them up in the present first.

@@Loner098 If you pick the chests up in the past first they disappear in the present. Getting them in the present first not only gets you more loot but the present chests have better stuff... time travel, am I right?

@@mightymanatee5342 Ah, but what if you were to interact with the Sealed Chests, but then select "No" when it asks if you want the item in 600 AD? What if you then go to 1000 AD to see your results?
