I'm 62 and I still love this song. Brings back those 70's memories. I love my life and I'm very blessed, but things were simpler then and the music was far, far better than today's stuff.

My first concert ever was Journey and The Baby's in the Seattle Center Coliseum. Jonathan Cain on Keyboards for the Baby's opening for Journey and then not long after he joined Journey. Great memories. My 2nd concert was Van Halen later that year. What an awesome time of my life. I'd give anything to be living in those days again.

I agree, music was so different! anticipating the top 40, the top 100- all of that was great fun❤ and listening a friend or a group of friends was always great! not so plugged in and away from the World😢. 'Technology is so addictive, I've first-hand seen a two-year-old handed a cell phone to play with instead of being picked up when she was fussy and reaching out.. Let's make certain we hold on to our own happiness and limit technology- I DO know it's a bitter fight with my youngest son (15yr. difference from my last son) but I fight the fight anyway.. Maybe have a movie night together or attend a concert- there are still some great ones around that have a multi-generatio nal audience😊!

Growing up i was so lucky to have parents that owned a radio station. When new songs came out, they were sent to radio stations nationwide to test run in the public. My dad brought home 45s for my sister and i to listen to. We told him if we liked it or not so he would have that record played a lot on air. We had more records than a music store..❤

@@patrickmaruniak5987 nah, I distinctly remember it being '78. Back in those days they did release songs in certain areas first and then it went nationwide. My brother lived in Philly and heard a 'Who' song six months before we ever did here in Ohio

62' baby; This song would make my heart soar with the possibilities when I heard it as a teen. Listening to it I didn't want distractions, nothing else going on. It had to flow in my ears and flood my brain and heart.
