Not to be argumentative, but say they had 4 designs, each a little more beautiful, complex, and expensive than the previous. An initial investor comes along and says "Well, who's paying for all THAT?". Ok, ok. We'll go back to design #3.

Hello, I understand your confusion. Many times it happens that a design is built, and then it is modified and a second, completely different thing is built on top of what was built. There are many such cases in palaces and churches around the world.

The greatest Skyscraper ever built,an art deco masterpiece. The Empire state building was intended to arrive on it, but it was constructed in the great depression in the money for the internal decoration was reduced.

Positively spectacular building. Even though the Empire State surpassed the Chrysler in size, it was bland and ordinary looking compared to this one
