Chrysler Town & Country - Brake Light On , Diag In the Rain!

We have here a 2009 Chrysler Town & Country with the brake light on. The BCM has a code for the brake fluid sensor. It's a pretty straightforward diagnosis; the only problem is that it has started raining. I hope you enjoy it!

I like the way you show yourself pointing to the screen while showing the screen in the bigger window. It's a good technique that is the best of best worlds. Your channel is growing on me. Of course, it would have been nice to see a new part actually solve the problem to give the viewer closure but you took the time to measure the resistance on the bad part and compare it to another so that helped prove your diagnosis. Thanks for making these videos!

dealt with a 2006 Dakota. master cylinder was bad, rotted brake lines. replaced and then had same code. Alldata was showing wiring to fcm( fuse box). but when you run down diag, tree it was telling you had a abs module bad. after all that it was a bad reservoir can't just replace sensor.

Would you recommend this scanner vs the new topdon “smart” ?

I never used the smart, but it seems a little better than this one. I think it has a feature called quick scan which reads all the modules super fast. I would probably go with that one over the elite if I was buying it again.

I think the differences are the Elite has 6 brands of cloud based programming and CAN FD while the Smart has 14 brands and DoIP/CAN FD. If none of that is important then the Plus.
