Thanks for showing these tunnels that can't be seen during normal trips. And I must say that these backup tracks are useful in unusual conditions, special services can be operated using these tracks to maintain maximum service.

This came up as an ad and wanted to come and say it's so cool how this was shot! So interesting to see the people behind one of the most efficient rail way systems in the world that's been running for over 30 years. When the camera came out at Quarry Bay I went 😮😃 Would love to see more of these! 💜

I saw part of this yesterday while waiting at a station. It is brilliant. Have always wanted to see behind the scenes.
Why not make a special service of kwun tong line to and from north point during peak hours?

@@Ayaanakamax oh sorry i don’t think that will work well in real-life because Kwun Tong Line and Tseung Kwan O Line are two separate lines, my take on your comment sounds cool tho, yet in terms of train and passenger flow, I’m guessing it’s going to be chaotic, plus there’s going to be too many crossover of trains to different tracks

It's too hard to arrange the trains with such a high traffic density. Just have a look at the through train systems in Japan, one train gets delayed, all the lines are interfered.
