awsome, used to fish that stretch regularly 15 years ago, some cracking chub swims before you get to the woods and in the woods themselves, lots of greylking too. do you still park at the pub?
@japanesefishingadventures3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely, still a cracking stretch, so many spots!!

I fished the Ribble years ago,every week.The Chub used to be hollow, a 3lb chub on the Ribble would weigh 4lb plus on the the Severn etc. Is it still the same?
@japanesefishingadventures Жыл бұрын
Hahaha 🤣🤣 I learnt this early last year hahaha! They are almost hollow, however, the Ribble is stuffed with 4ib chub haha!!

@@japanesefishingadventures Haha😃. I remember my first Severn Chub.. thought it was about 2lb after being used to Ribble ones ,It was 3lb..The Ribble fish are big bruisers...I had my best ones on slugs...If you could find a big black one in the grass..freeline it,and they'd almost rip the rod out of the rest 😃😊😊

Which ticket type do you get to fish there with lures/Spinners or is it fly fonly?
@japanesefishingadventures2 жыл бұрын
Hi mate, only allowed to fish lures at a certain height (blue mark against the bridge) and in winter it’s pretty much fair game! During March to November, the vast majority is fly only unfortunately :( never used to be, but clearly some toff’s within the committee 😂😂
