As we head into the last few weeks before the election, please keep talking about poverty, education, worker's rights, cost of living, rent, etc. Democracy and climate change, while extremely important, are not on the minds of the average person. Hard fact to accept but as someone who does value the Constitution and the Rule of Law, it's not what 70-80% of people are concerned about on a daily basis. It's really hard to emphasize existential threats when many are hungry and have to keep a roof over their heads. More ads from the Harris campaign on policies for improving our everyday lives would be awesome. The only reason Trump would win is because he is making the economy the focal point of his campaign [along with pet eating immigrants]. To both candidates, everyone already knows your respective backgrounds, your resume, number of people in your family yada yada yada and trust me, only your most die-hard supporters would like to hear about it at every turn. More substantive content at your rallies and be as specific as possible. You won't be able to accomplish every single item on your checklist in 4 years but at least Americans would know you have a plan.

US debt is 33 trillion. The deficit is 1.9 trillion. Germany China UK and Japan all have substantial debt. The US has only had a surplus a few times the last being 2001. Taxing corporations appropriately might help.
