Another mesh shorts and Jordan’s type of day, again ? Not only your son but the other worker also ? Would that job really cost $4500 ? You need more aluminum pipe wrenches quickly !!! Since 1993 and still using heavy steel pipe wrenches ? You need a full set of Ridgid aluminum pipe wrenches !!! Can’t believe you’re still using them heavy a@@ wrenches ?

You’re right about too many tools to buy. Every professional on KZbin uses the aluminum ones only. I rarely see Stevie use those heavy a$$ wrenches. I believe he only has the aluminum ones in all sizes. You should have purchased one 10” and one 14” one. Sometimes 2 10” wrenches is not good enough for loosening or tightening fittings ?

Chuck Barron no harm intended, I just don’t like to see an older feller work too hard. You could use them all day when you were in your 20’s. I have all aluminum, cost a pretty penny up front but saved myself back and shoulder pain. I think that’s worth it, especially on a hot day like that ?

curious what your state has for minimum depth. Saskatchewan is 15" finished grade to top of pipe minimum. under drive ways you gotta go lower. I usually go 2ft deep with same product continental stab fittings. we gotta sleeve the riser (usually abs, minimum 18" piece, 6" above grade 12" below), have a union, ball valve and cap and then the underground permit is just for only that. to hook up the risers to the gas meter is another permit. $$$
