Hey Chuck,been a plumber for 33yrs ,I've seen it all,luv your videos good to see fellow plumbers dealing with the same stuff as I am ,I guess misery does love company. By the way,General makes a closet auger that has a 11/4 tapered bulb head with extra 3ft of cable stored in the handle,since I've been using this bad boy/ ten years,I've never had to take a stool up it's not a battery toy,and gives your shoulder a workout .keep making us proud

Milwaukee has a cordless m12 auger. I’ve used it a bunch of times Strongly recommend it, saves so much time as well as when you’re in tight spaces where you can’t use your hands to manually turn the auger

I think CB2 was “backed up” with enthusiasm about this one. He seems to be “overflowing” with joy. He’s “stopped up” with so much pride, you should get him to do all of your toilet auger jobs. No sense in holding somebody back.

Lucky that as soon as you open it your in and out. The company I work for no matter if we open it with the auger we still have to remove the toilet and run the big machine as well the nightmares ive been thru lol. I think its mainly due to saling wax rings diaphragm vacuum breaker etc. Good job guys.

Hello Chuck,if you don't mind a suggestion why don't you carry a few bottles of PineSol?Pour PineSol in toilets like that and it will help tame the stench plus the PineSol disinfects as a well.You can bill the customer for the bottle of PineSol,that's all.Pour half the bottle of PineSol before you unclog nasty toilets like that and pour the other half of the bottle of PineSol into the toilet after you clear the clog.Be well my Brother.

I'm pretty sure the toilet was open when the water level dropped, if your not sure if it's open and you want to flush it shut it off and then use the stop to let water in slowly. Looks like a General auger ,the best you can get.

when u get a few extra bucks I think you would like the m12 Milwaukee toilet snake. it has a pretty good churning speed. don't have to spin by hand but u can buy a manual handle incase you still don't want to spoil cb2. will go 6ft. they also got a urinal snake as well

The M12 urinal snake is garbage... 90% of traps you can't get through. Save your money and buy the ridgid closet snake with drill attachment, 100x better then the M12 and only costs like $80 bucks where I live.

Chuck Barron , not to mention cleaning your drain snake to keep it somewhat safe. Addressing clogs like this, in public toilets, can be downright life threatening. I have a 2.5 gallon pressurized garden sprayer with a "sink rinse hose" on it. I fill it about half way with Lysol, no water, and use it to spray the toilet as a precaution, then use it to disinfect the "submersible" tools that I've used. This was the result of a case of Hep B after cleaning out the toilet of a large pleasure craft. If you have ever seen a video of the microscopic spray produced when a toilet flushes, you will want to wear SCBA on these jobs, which I'm pretty sure you are familiar with.
