To see the reflections can't you mix the hdri in the world nodes?

We can't see the HDRI reflections, Because the light path is used, maybe you can mix them only with the factor slider

Yes it works, I know that the water shader works well and it seems that the terrain generator works too, But you have to to reduce specular in the principled shaders in the material that the generator uses, because it looks shiny, this speculat value is different in blender 4+, but I recommend to use blender 4.3, I made the addon for blender 4 and up

Eevee now has displacement. Why not use it, and use only cycles? I mean for cycles there plenty of solutions free or paid, but for eevee very less. Thank you.
