Me the awesome guy Well, I did state “on outset.” We don’t know when the stories take place compared to each other, so Hilbert might be older by SM, or Red might be an ancient skeleton by BW. But Red and Hilbert are the only trainers we know the ages of, and we can speculate Calem’s. Red is 11, Hilbert is 14, and Calem is somewhere between 13-17 based on appearance, friends, and the main rival of the game. (Correction though, we know that GSCHGSS happened after RB by two years based on dialogue from Kurt. This is the only canon time difference.)

I remember growing up with the fourth generation, and being fascinated with the idea of wifi. I was only six, so my parents refused to set up the connection on my ds. So, I grew up trying and failing to get internet to work. Then, I got older and figured out how to do it properly. And the wifi still didn't work for the games.
