Noro silk garden sock yarn is fabulous as socks, especially in a cold climate. It is warm soft and very strong and rustic. I even put it in the dryer on occasion and it stands up, but easily reshapes itself to your foot size. I have several pairs that are now pushing 10 years old. Highly recommended for socks 😊

I hope you’ll be my emotional support Canadians for the next four years! You always provide me with a happy place in the middle of chaos. Jodi, I had both knees replaced in my mid-50’s. Jodi, i pray everything goes well for the surgery. I also love it when you two speak of crafts and middle aged issues. Thank-you Tracie and Jodi for another great one!! Especially excited to try knitting with roving. I have some Briggs and Little Roving in my stash from my dryer balls making days!!! You can also hold mohair or other fine fluffy yarns with it to add colour!!! I saw a beautiful Petite Knit Lulu knit with roving that is currently the first featured one on the project page. It's absolutely beautiful and I think a vest is a good way to start with that yarn...thank-you ladies....oh and Jodi.....your estrogen is dropping rapidly hence hotflashes. When you get to 8 hotflashes per attempted sleep cycle you will look for answers and BHRT was the answer for me.

Wasn't able to catch this LIVE but had a blast watching tonight. First of all I MUST make that cowl and I need sparkle! Second, you two are SO freaking generous those 12-ish days of December giveaways are going to be amazing. P.S. I am sitting here watching this wearing my Felix pullover in unspun - I had a moment with it, and I do enjoy the lightweight nature of it - however I only enjoy unspun that is knit with one strand of mohair or suri for durability. OH OH and McCausland's in PEI has unspun that is absolutely wonderful. Even Jodi would like it.

I had my hip done in June. Make sure you get slip in’s by Sketchers, what a game changer because you won’t be able to bend over to tie your shoes. Also, if you wear socks, get a thing that you put your sock on and slip your foot inside and pull the sock up. I got mine on Amazon. Get a basket for your walker to carry things in. Handles to help you get in the shower. I wish the best for you. It is definitely the best thing I did. Good luck!
