I love knowing you're a writer who uses your journals! The one thing I feel is missing from this great plethora of journal vids (and I've watched dozens in the past month, with a bit of a fervor!) is what a journal looks like after a prolific writer has used them. Since I don't journal but I LOVE making them I'm a bit in the dark about how to appeal to writers, such as yourself. Wouldn't it be grand if someone did a flip through of a journal that's been lovingly used! Thank you for hearing me out. Your journals are fantastic!!!

I have a video or two of filled in journals. But I have since gotten soooo much better with my decorating, so my completed journals are absolutely amazing to flip through. I would LOVE to do a flip through of them to show people how beautiful they look after filled in and fully decorated, espeically with as big as they are. But in a video that can be paused at any point, people would be able to read my private writing too easily. 🙁

As for the tassel, I kind of explain it in the ephemera book video, but I don't outright have a video tutorial on the tassel. It's people like you that make me wish I had more time to devote to making junk journals and tutorials ❤️ I have 2 young boys who are growing fast, so right now I'm devoting a lot of my time to them and will be starting homeschooling soon, so I'll have even less time for this. But make sure you get notifications for when I do post, because I may be slow but I will still get more videos out there!

beautiful! How long did it take you to do that? Any idea?

It took about 2 weeks to hand dye papers, find, buy and print digitals, design and make the covers, go through all of my books for pages that would work, put together vintage pages so they wouldn't have to be folded in half to be sewn in the signatures, put together papers to make up 5 signatures for each book and sew them in, make giant tassels and all 10 glass and paper bead dangles, then decorate the sale journal. I did not decorate my journal because I like to decorate as I write.
