I can assume very quickly that this was definitely done to move from pews to concert styled seating (which makes sense), correct the flat seating of the lower deck (makes it easier to see when you’re further back) and to implement structural layout changes that greatly impacts the AV needs significantly (too many to list). That aside I’m sure it makes to do a general renovation of paint, etc if you can afford to.

You re correct a house of God is not rock concert, but clearly the word of God states, we should renew our minds and it seems they are trying to capture souls for GOD and the young generation as well who are soooooo lost, besides we are not judges, this is for God to decodes, be careful about that because Peter was wanting to find out why he was not going to be in charge and GOD told him "what about 'they' YOU WORRY ABOUT YOU.....APPLY THIS PLEASE. A church is when two or more believers are gathered to praise and worship the Lord. That includes a dark, concert looking place. If you can scripturally argue otherwise, I’m all ears And it’s funny you say it’s dark because the stage looked dark. Had no idea you didn’t know what lights are lol. But anyways I didn’t mean to lash out at you. Just reconsider judging without any knowledge of what is actually happening. We should try our best not to be Pharisees.

Black is just a color the level of ignorance and blinded religion is amazing how it still lives among Gods people..when video and lighting production gets to a high level like this church has..black is required to help out lights and video…but I’m sure an opinion is more important that actual facts and engineering..

the reasons for the black Walls ON the front of the Sanctuary is actually so that way people in the back can read the screens easier and also to bring Attention to the front to the pastor and yes ive been to both modern and traditional churches so i can make the cross references and also The modern sanctuary isnt darker then the traditional sanctuary Teh modern ones actually have more leds to help create more liht and the traditional Pendants are actually dark
