I am happily surprised they did it all on time, for so little and it came out so well. This may be my favorite episode. I felt for these two and wanted good things for them. Using a broom to guide a steel beam, too funny. Have to appreciate the building/home inspector for safety. Safety 1st! Ticking off the planning commission, not a good thing. Improvising electrical...Yikes! LOL they moved in all right...into a building site just to prove they could be in by Christmas...that being said, within 2 months it looks beyond fantastic. Are double vanities in an owner on suit bathroom something uncommon in the UK? What a great group of "mates"...all for a pint of beer.

This was a good illustration of what friends can achieve together but it is a pity that the roofers were given their free beers before they started. The ripped eaves course and the shoddy verges and ridges will take a lot of ignoring down the line.
