I will always remember the date of his funeral, Friday, 12th, June, 2012, as I lost my beautiful mother that morning. Every time I hear Robin for the rest of my days I will be reminded of her. @@wandaloskot Barbara Gibb (Barry ,Robin,Maurice And Andy's mum) said in a interview onice that she believed that the loss of Andy, Maurice and Robin was harder on Barry than on her and in a way that is true as Andy's death Changed Barry he never really got over the pain, Maurice's Death was almost too much for poor Barry too handle he emotionally shut down and shut Robin out . losing Robin was the final blow in over 25 years of pain and heartbreak for Barry. He never in his wildest dream thought that he would out live all three of his younger brother s but one by one they were gone that is every older siblings worst night and two of his brother's (Andy and Maurice) he never really got too say good bye too .Robin he got too spend a little bit time with Robin least before he died. But Mo was gone in 48 hrs and Andy died in the U.K. and Barry was still Miami when he died.

+ Rafael Me too, and though he was financially successful life did little to heal it. He was not satisfied with what he had accomplished, and right he was. He could've given so much more to the Bee Gees! If only they'd let him. Look at this song, only included as a bonus track on "Still Waters" (1997), and not world-wide, but only in certain countries...

I just lost my husband to cancer, and it was a 2 yr journey. The devastation it does to a person's body changing them from an Iron man to someone who couldn't walk to the bathroom breaks the heart into pieces. I know that pain but when I look or think of Barry Gibb it makes me feel such sorrow. He lost all 3 of his brothers changing the trajectory of his life. Losing Robin and Maurice was a huge loss to the world.

That was a great shock to Barry when Andy & Maurice died unexpectedly. And now, with Robin's death, he was now Bee Gees' last surviving (principal) member. RIP Andy, Maurice & Robin. Stay strong, Barry. You still have a long way to go.

They were magnificent! Robin was the star, then. To me he still is, though you have to look for his gems among record B-sides, CD bonus tracks and whatnot. Many of the pieces where he sang lead or co-lead were left out of the Bee Gees' albums (like this song), or they are still unreleased (like "Sensuality", or "I'll be there"). How bloody stupid!
