Fell in love with this song when the beat drops at the end when I saw "Heartstopper." I had to do my due diligence and find the title. IMMEDIATELY fell in love with this and I love that the melody you speak of is very "Depech Mode" in "Just Can't Get Enough." This is just an absolutely TIMELESS song that I will love till my dying day!!!

This song really sums up a lot of what I love about CHVRCHES, and it’s the # of elements they can fit into a song without it feeling crowded. It ends up feeling atmospheric and just something you can dive into almost every time. This track is definitely reflective of their super poppy style in 2015-2018. I’ll say it one more time, Final Girl is a perfect recommendation for you from their discography. It’s also off of Screen Violence and has that rock feel to it while keeping the pop energy. Thanks for doing these CHVRCHES videos, I’ve really enjoyed them and have become a semi regular viewer (although I don’t usually comment).

Welcome back to chvrches. Great to see you again. The drop on this makes me move and dance every single time. Absolute Highlight and climax on every concert, people just waiting for it to hit. Make sure you check out the live version of How not to drown on the NME Awards with Robert Smith himself playing

If you are looking for more of their older stuff i absolutely love both "Recover" and "Lies", and "Science and Vision" is like very little else i've ever heard.

When they started Chvrches were considered an 80s throwback band with a lot of their electronic stuff having echoes from the darker synth pop of that era. I've always thought that the drop on Clearest Blue was an homage to the 80s classic "Just can't get enough" by Depeche Mode. The rhythm is the same but they changed the keyboard line a bit and modernised it. I love the way they're evolving into a more acoustic sound on Screen Violence.

Building off your observation of the video's presentation, ...it struck a memory loose here - my recollection of Staind's video for _Epiphany_ - which made me search it out and revisit its particular presentation ~~ different tempo and such, obviously, but the visual presentation.

my question is why read the lyrics before you listen, to me that takes away you interpretation of the sound a visual your seeing, there is no surprise and shock of whats to come if you already know what there going to say
