This is so relevant to what happened to me. A little boy stop at my gate to visit and told me his father committed suicide when he was a month old. Just out of the blue he said this as he was saying he was also being bullied. This is exactly right he doesn’t feel good enough.

This truly is among your best videos. The thought that came to me as I watched and listened to Kristine talk (about the traumatic events in her life and how her youth became dis-functional wasteland) was this: "How did Chynna escape this in her own life?" Chynna had similar events in her youth which could have (and should have?) led to the same tragic finality of life, that so nearly became Kristine's destiny. May Kristine find the same saving grace experienced by Chynna. May the grace of God abound in this friendship; may it lead to a powerful testimony to the those it was meant to reach.

This was a great interview, Chynna. Thanks for letting Christine share her story of overcoming her traumas on your platform. Suicide discussions are taboo in our society, thankfully conversations like these help lift the stigma. Christine is correct, there IS a higher % of suicides amongst survivors in families where there has been one. This is BEHAVIORAL a not genetic. Btw, I’m a retired trauma therapist and I encourage survivors of loved ones completed suicides to address their own losses ASAP so they don’t have to repeat the pattern of unexpressed emotion which is common with suicide. I wish you both continued success.

Kristine, thank you for sharing your story. People often think that if you are thin and beautiful, you are somehow immune from the brokenness and pain in this world. One thing I want to say is this: you felt when your dad died by suicide that you were not worth living for. Jesus, however, came to earth to show you that you were worth dying for! He gave up His life (and rose again from the dead!) so that you could, if you accept his invitation, have life abundant and eternal!!
