An easy method to learn the rate of 2 years Just multiply the rate by 2 (whole part) and write the square of the rate(decimal part) For example- 5%= 5×2=10 (5)²=25 5%= 10.25 Again= 6% = 6×2=12 (6)²= 36 6%=12.36 Hope it will help.Dear sir Please pin this comment

I think using formula of compound interest is much easier that mugging up whole table. Also solving formula of compound interest by putting corresponding values will take less than trying to remember whole table for just one value. The 2 year row in the table follows the formula (2*rate).(rate*rate), 3 year row has the formula (rate*3).(3*rate*rate) it varies slightly after 5% by 0.02, 0.03, 0.05 etc. Similarly, 4 year row follows (rate*4).(Rate*rate*6)
