Why the private hospital refused to treat the patient in emergency situation? Please, government should seal the hospital and take the action against that Hospital. Every hospital has the responsibility to give the first aid.they can't refused.

There is no first aid in these case....antivenoms are available only in govt medical college hospital or district govt hospitals only not in private hospital not even in Apollo in most cities..the snake here produces neurotoxic venom which attacks brain...also depends on site of the bite..golden period is only 30 minutes in this case..if it is haemotoxic snake bitten chance of survival is more...

@@jakezo369 @google user trust me, antivenoms are not available for the usage in private hospitals...it is not and will not be sold for private usage in future also...treatment is complex..it is not just injecting it...injecting antivenom may cause damage to kidney,liver and other internal organs,even left the patient with life long illnesses and dialysis....cost of production is high...producing some vials for usage brings burden to the company and only govt can subsides it....to my knowledge only CMC Vellore have antivenom facility...not even Ramachandra hospital have it..first try understand how it works...it is not like over the counter injecting it and transfer to other hospital for treatment ..chance of survival after giving antivenom also slim and patient need continuous monitoring...it is not and will not sold to private hospital and to the public...it is not like remdesvir during corona pandemic where people line up in huge numbers to buy for treatment in private hospitals...and your comment on vaccine is absurdity...first try to understand not all doctors are trained for using antivenom in emergency medicine...

@@jakezo369 I could avoid this in social media,but let me tell you I am practicing neuro physician for the last 4 years in US..before that I done my DM neuro in NIMHANS....so I knew little about how things works in these conditional environment ..please let me know what is mean by first aid during snake bite cases?..the second after a snake bite starts golden hour- it means time lapse for saving the life...today there is separate department called MD emergency medicine or casualty in TN hospitals...if you have doubt ask them...only thing you could do is don't run or rush due to panic..because it will increase blood flow and inform and visit nearby district headquarters govt hospital as soon as possible,brought that snake because it will help to distinguish whether it is neuro or hemo toxic snake... .talking about remdesvir, it is a debatable drug....only thing we knew was it have tendency for reducing viral load in most patients....we even prescribed ivermectin which have antiinflammatory properties for mild and severe cases for stoping critical COVID..it is damn epidemic also called war mode in social and preventive medicine...we even tested ART medicines during early months of epidemics..but it is our business so don't worry about that...at the end of the day,saving lives is our primary job..no physician will treat while imagining possible death...you may called SCAM but we have seen reduction of deaths and progression to severe cases and saving many lives after using this medicine...about vaccination,let me tell you a simple fact,you can visit any nearby TN govt hospital or medical College hospital... we treat emergency cases without knowing their health status -for example every day we start treatment for the people met with accident without asking him about health status(that is-his HIV,HPV, Hepatitis c or any TORCH infections) and doing emergency surgery without having them tested for this infection..it is our job and it have risk,we all knew it and we are trained for it....do you think non vaccination is the reason for rejecting them?..they are not trained for snake bite cases...even I am not trained for emergency medicine or for any other department other than mine... I have commented here because I have seen neurological complications even after surviving snake bite and it is also comes in my field of my occupation....sometimes facts can hurt your feelings and make you see the one who spit out facts as sign of arrogance...you may argue I am still arrogant and close minded,but it is what meant to be and it is how things works on that part of the world....sorry ,if I hurt your feelings...I am just saying how things works for snake bite cases..
