8:59 ma'am transduction is the process of conversion of stimuli into neural activity, but in case of encoding it is also the process of conversion of sensory information into neural impulses. Then what is the difference between these two???

It’s transduction in patterns in simple sense, our brain interprets them. Eg volley’s principle of audition relies on encoding which later is interpreted by brain. Yehi difference hai most likely. Hope it helps

Hello, I am a DU student and i am preparing for my PG entrances; this video was really helpful for my revision process so i can recall the topics by putting it on faster... thank you for that, but mam i have a doubt on habituation part, i think that you mentioned over there is the definition of sensory adaptation, habituation is a behavioral phenomenon, and reduced perceptual experience when exposed to same sensory stimuli over time. so could you just check on that, that could be very helpful for me and others as well ☺. Your method of teaching is really good, keep up with the work, thanks a lot.
