No problem. You might like some of my other arcade tours that are more retro, such as TimeLoop, The Game Preserve Woodlands and Electric Starship.

By far the best arcade I’ve ever been.

I never been to Texas, but damn. This place has a nice mix of rare, easy to find retro, and modern games.

I'd gladly pay $15 for a month even if I only went once a month! Awesome looking place!

Love 💕 that Tron cab but DOT is Awesome! 😎 What would be Dope 🔥 is if there was the Environmental ( Almost enclosed sit down) DOT! 🤩 Haven’t seen a SeaWolf cab in 25+ years and haven’t seen a SubRoc 3D cab in over 30 years! (Would’ve been cool if it was there!) Tournament CyberBall 2072 🙌! ( Come on its robot football and the ball is a bomb! 😀) Plus oh yeah One of my favorite Shmups of all Time! Prehistoric Isle! 😎 Played the Guns N’ Roses pin almost 30 years ago and only seen it once since! 🙄 I’m just a little upset, no RoboTron 2084, SpyHunter Gyruss and Tempest. 🤨

I miss the old style arcades. Now there filled with claw machine a "Bounce a ball in a hole for tickets" games. There's a few classics, mostly shoot em ups but not any of the classic arcades. Seems like someone opens one up and it doesn't last more than a year or two.

I was surprised when I searched my area for arcades and how many I found. Of course I live in a big city - Houston. It has a handful of decent arcades that you don’t have to swipe a card or have big dumb ticket machines. I encourage everyone to map search their area for “arcades.”

@@arcade-tours As a traveled arcade explorer, Houston and DFW are extreme abnormalities as far as arcades go. Chicago's really the only place on par with their concentration of arcades. There are a few towns that have a pretty nice arcade scene (including a few you wouldn't expect, like pre-pandemic Denver and Madison), but those Texas cities are something else entirely.

The DFW area has a lot of these, not just Cidercade but others. Arlington has one called Freeplay and one called Black Dog (which I've never been to but it's advertised as $10 for all day play.(
