Lurk cam, hound cam, blur desk, vintage yellow filter, and azure filter all artistically evaded punching the viewer with a direct shot of Tom or Nicks faces. I enjoyed how Nick answered the question of his introduction into cigars and also his graceful description of how the laws curbed his cigar consumption. Nick's tactful description of the conditions of Cuba mixed with admiration for the genius of their craftmanship are fitting as a man who appreciates the history of what he is smoking. I am aways in awe of classic English style and the caliber of cigars consumed during such conversations.

Nick’s way with words make his stories and explanations almost poetic in their delivery.

I feel you may be receiving kick back from optometrists? The video makes one feel as if they have suddenly succumbed to a vision ailment and need their eyes tested. Also... The closer shots give one the uncomfortable feeling as if they are lying on the carpet looking up at the men. Loved the rapid (or rabid - take a pick) panning back and forth between the two, just when you thought it was over - no, at least two more times. Truly induced a feeling for the need a deep bowl or commode. I have not seen this effect since the old camcorder videos from the 90s, produced by an inattentive family member. Really though - I felt you were attempting to develop an Alfred Hitchcock filming style... BUT, while I did not get the impression Mr. Foulkes was about to pull a revolver out and do in Mr. Chamberlin - I did wish one would pull a revolver on the camera person.

Not quite the lively, frivolous and bouncy conversation as found between Father and Son, but never the less an interesting and informative conversation to listen to over breakfast and casting an eye over this mornings boring headlines in the Times. Well done Gentlemen. Perhaps a tripod for the camera chp/chapesse would help next time. Many thanks.

For people into fashion that have a eye for detail. This is too rough around the edges. A higher quality camera and a tripod is needed. However the concept is great, camera angles are nice and conversation is great. This channel Could provide alot of value and alot of joy too alot people with abit of tidying up. I've just subscibed, and i thank you for your effort in making these videos. Tom and Nick are always worth listening too. I hope you have a fine week gentlemen.

Nick's lighting of that premium cigar was totally anxiety inducing for a mere pleb like me. I nearly bought a Siglo 2 in Edinburgh for £41 and would've treated it like a jewel encrusted egg. (I prefer new world, and the guy on the Royal mile was kind enough to direct me to Jefferey street).

Great video. The camera angles were excellent however the focus for the main camera seems slightly out and the colour balance made the atmosphere feel cold. Besides that, loved the video and look forward to many more.

Is that a Cohiba they're smoking? I heard Robusto Supremo but not the brand.
@Scott_CCDJ
@Scott_CCDJ Жыл бұрын
Yes the Robustos Supremos is a Cohiba although looking at the length of the cigar I think it's a Talisman they're smoking rather than the Supremos.

Love the conversation, but this shaky cam, yellow/blue color balance is awful. The soft focus on the wide angle is also terrible. Would have loved a single wide angle with natural white balance and a large depth of field.

Entertaining conversation and content, but the photography needs work, obviously. Even an iPhone would be far better. The blurriness of the left side suggests you’re using an old, cheap, camera lens. It would be nearly impossible to reproduce such extreme barrel distortions with any modern lens. Somehow the photographer never noticed this live?? The faded washed out color suggests really cheap camera also. My advice Tom, buy a tripod that can hold your smartphone fixed in place at the height you want, and just use that. It will look great.
