Let’s see how to make Chicken Perattu| Kerala/Trivandrum style Kozhi Perattu recipe in Malayalam. Chicken Perattu is a variety recipe made by roasting masala marinated chicken in oil and other spices. It’s spicy and ambrosial. A great combination with rice, appam, chapathi or porotta.
Ingredients (as shown in the video):
Chicken - 500g
Ginger
Garlic
Green chillies - 2-3
Shallots- a Handful
Coconut shards
Fennel seeds - 1 tsp, crushed
Salt
Red chilli powder -2.5-3 tbsp
Turmeric powder
Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
Coriander Powder -1.5 tbsp
Pepper powder - 1-2 tsp
Asafoetida powder - 1/4 tsp or a pinch
Lime juice
Curry leaves
Oil
