I’m a fairly harsh critic of vocalists, but I don’t understand the hate on this. It’s a TV show theme, not a reach for a #1 spot on the pop charts. And, it’s no more cheesy or poorly arranged than the Full House, Love Boat, or Lavern & Shirley themes, and people still slobber on themselves remembering those tunes. This was LWT's in house orchestra usually with Laurie Holloway knocking around arranging or playing piano and Alyn Ainsworth conducting and the VOICE was LWT's in house announcer Robin Houston . The tune was written by Kate "I'm an impressionist" Robbins who actually did a very good Cilla .

Greed became institutionalised. There was some good music and culture, but in many ways it was a form of escapism from the rest of life. I barely watched this show as a kid and I found it cringy as hell but I was just watching something completely unrelated right now and all of a sudden this song popped into my head out of the blue and I just had to search for it on youtube to remind me about it.
