literally the same questions. Can these journalists/interview people not do any homework and come up with anything different or interesting to ask? my god. As much as I love acting I could never do this..I'd lose it. He will be so glad when this press run is finally over in a month.

@@NM-hq1io no. they can do some research and notice how others ask questions and what they have already asked. Good journalism means good research which yields better questions. That said, the interview as the whole segment came out better than what these segments show.

Completely agree. Lost respect for this interviewer. In other clips, he finds new ways to spin every asset as a deficit. You can see Cillian is not having a good time, nor would I, being cross examined like this. @@OpheliaDarkling

Man, he really has done an endless amount of interviews since the release of Oppenheimer. Knowing he is more of an introvert it must be quite frustrating at times. Great to see him doing well though and winning awards!

@@brachemaSure. But he’s hardly in desperate need of a paycheck. So I doubt it’s much consolation, considering how much he hates interviews. I think his motivation is more that he believes in the film and as the face on the poster, he’s contractually obliged to do this kind of PR blitz.

The ability to accurately portray a character and then become reacclimated to being your genuine self while maintaining one's mental health is a skill I find miraculous. I literally cannot imagine becoming someone entirely different than myself for a brief period, then back to "me", then onto becoming yet another personality and so-on. It's no wonder so many actors have serious struggles emotionally. Murphy clearly has the skill set and also the critical support of a brilliant wife to help him manage.......we should all be so fortunate.

Firstly, Cillian, I am a fan of yours ever since I started loving films at a very young age. I have watched every single movie you are in, and you always inspire me. You gave me a dream of acting, and now I am trying my best to be an amazing actor like you are someday, even if it seems impossible. You are a great man, you are humble, always caring to your loved ones, and your dedication cannot be compared to any other actor in this planet. As a superfan who grew up watching your movies, your acting, almost my entire life, it was just a dream come true. I know you are tired of fame, you know the paparazzi and all are very stressful, and for me too, seeing you having more and more fans makes me sad for some reason, maybe because you are not a unknown, new actor that only I love anymore. I respect your very private life, not involving yourself on social media is a wise choice. Cillian, your movies, your acting was the things that got me through tough times when I couldn't rely on anyone else. When I was lonely and sad, when I was stressed out. Maybe if it wasn't for your movies, I wouldn't be the person I am today. I remember being a young child and teenager, just crying in bed, thinking about how meeting you will be impossible and to be honest, being jealous of your sons and wife hahaha. I have always dreamt of meeting you someday but it is getting harder now, I hope that my dream will come true in the near future. Thank you so much. Your attitude about fame and life is something very inspiring. I never fail to learn something new, something very valuable, something very inspiring from your interviews and your lifestyle. Seeing you in a movie with such a great cast, director and crew was just a dream come true. I had always dreamt of you getting the attention you deserved in the near future and I am glad that now you get the attention you deserve although you deserve more. I would also like to thank you for just being someone to look up to, a role model, for me ever since I was a kid. Thank you so much. This movie, the awards you received, and the many awards that you are about to receive is just the beginning. Your talent will soon be revealed to the world and you will get even more attention that you deserve. I am so happy to see you happy in a while, you look very happy here, or maybe it's because I have seen a lot of videos where you don't look very happy. I hope that only happy things will happen to you now, and I hope that my dream will really come true someday. I have supported you from the beginning of your journey until now, and I am proud to call myself a fan of yours. I will always be there to support you until the end of line, and I really hope to meet you and talk to you as a fellow actor. I don't have the words, I don't have the time to type all the things I am grateful to you, all the things you did to make my life better. You now are a part of my life, someone I cannot imagine to live without. Thank you so much for everything. Next stop, Academy Award! Can't wait for your speech at the Oscars! ❤
