He said he had never met any woman like me and avid sailor since childhood, a voraciois reader, and passionantly devoted to helping people heal and training other psychologists. In our heart we knew the night we met the other was "the one" but I toold him what I wpuld have told anyone ...wit a year adj7st, date other women, be sure what you really want in the other person. He quickly said, "I want you." I said we will wait , no hasty decisions. And we did. A year later he said, "I have dated no one else...I knew you were the one"...I hadnt either We were together 41 beautiful years...He passed away peacefully in his sleep 2 years ago after 41 years together. I was the luckiest of women.

He got onto the train carriage I was on one day with his sons(in South Dublin). I noticed him straight away. However, not one other person did as they all had their heads buried in their mobile phones. It wasn't a crowded carriage either so no problem spotting him if they bothered. He was totally unassuming in his manner. When we got off the train (at the same station) he approached an information desk where a young girl was working with her back to him. When she turned around she looked shocked. He simply smiled, asked his question and carried on with his boys.

Same. 28 days later was just, a new level for me as a zombie flick fanatic... the scene in the church was so disturbing, yet so so perfect. I remember thinking there was something special about that actor, Cillian and later films he has been in have not dissapointed.

@@FF-ou4rk Yeah. Cillian's reactions when he saw the infected priest in the church was just incredible. The look of sadness at first, when he saw the corpses, then the look of wariness as the priest was behaving weird, before he had a look of remorse after he hit the priest. His acting was just spot on. And I love the ending of the movie when Jim (Cillian) takes out the soldiers one by one with the help of the infected, while also saving Selena and Hannah from getting r@ped by the soldiers. 28 Days Later is also my favorite Cillian Murphy movie. Cillian's acting was just spot on. And I'm glad he finally got a lead role in a huge Hollywood movie (Oppenheimer), because he really deserves it. I'm just surprised he hasn't been given the lead role in a big Hollywood movie 20 years ago, as he has a bigger talent than MANY of the Hollywood stars today!

He is a fantastic actor who inhabits his characters so completely. One of the few men of his generation who has not been typecast and is willing to take risks in the variety of roles and genres he invests himself in. Being Irish has a lot to do with his stability, I think. Community remains very important in Ireland, along with respect for his privacy and family life.
