Totally. Are you one of those who watched all his movies and now doesn't have material so watches this? Because I am xD Have you watched Sunsine? -This is what life would have been like if Robert Capa hadn't saved the world.

In the Northern reaches of the Earth, a young couple had moved in and found a home by a lake long ago. The lake remained frozen through the whole year, and was not connected through any rivers nor did the water beneath the surface ever change. And yet, under the surface, they could see the same few fish swim about year after year. After some experimentation, they discovered that the water below the lake harboured the gift of eternal youth and life, with an unchanging ecosystem living only on the water without consuming it, and the light crossing the ice above. They dreamed of enjoying Eternity in that water together, never to die or grow old as the ages passed and civilisation advanced and lost itself eventually. However, in time, they had a child.

Hard as it was, they came up with a plan to stay with the boy and take care of him for as long as possible without ageing or becoming too old to take care of themselves in the process. They would each take turns to be kept under the ice, in the peaceful lake where time would not pass for them while the other raised the boy. Over time, the father agreed that he did not mind ageing as much as the mother did, and after a couple of switches he remained with the boy for almost two whole decades while the mother lay in the ice. They'd agreed to meet and spend the rest of Eternity together there once the young man was able to take care of himself. Though they tried to persuade him, the young man never agreed with his mother's philosophy of living an eternal and peacefully still life with them. He wanted to live life fully, without fear of death or harm or becoming old; though he knew that this would mean he would lose his parents to their own dream sooner than he would have preferred. I suppose this is when he finally comes to that age, and the couple can now live the rest of life as immortals in the water.

@Observationfreak I think this is an allegory, or so, feist must be his mother and this old man his father but she was sort of kept in life under ice sheet and they make her reborn on this day. Afterwards, lovers return to the ice. that's what I understood but as there's no word, everyone can make his own conclusion. Interresting.

or maybe Feist is the death coming for the father who associates her with his dead wife?
@poupefaction I think the "rebirth" might have been more of a death-bed revelation/conversation that the father had never approached during the son's life. Before his death he finally told his son about his mother. Maybe >_>

@@LauRa-re9un Absolutely not boring. And here's my version: the woman is the mother's spectre coming to tale her husband with her.
