Great combo video as always! Just a note for viewers, at 3:21, when you Link Summon the second copy of Electrumite, Star Pendulumgraph will trigger as a mandatory Chain Link 1. Also, at 6:41, before you Pendulum Summon, you need to add back Wisdom-Eye Magician back from the Extra Deck to the hand using Oafdragon's effect in the scale, because you cannot Pendulum Summon all three monsters from the Extra Deck since there are only two link markers via Electrumite. The Joker was actually added from the Extra Deck to the hand via Electrumite's second effect. He popped the second Chronograph Sorcerer in scale to retrieve it.

Doomed operator the engine was bad because Odd-Eyes didn't had the speed, and we put Magicians in it to correct this flaw, which in turn made the deck in question be a bad Magician deck. But with Odd-Eyes Arc and Odd-Eyes Revolution, the Odd-Eyes deck can stand on its own. Minor Correction: Combo #2 - I skipped adding Wisdom-Eye to Hand with Oafdragon! Do that before Pendulum Summoning and achieve the same result! Also in Combo #1 - Missed Star Pendulumgraph trigger. Doesn’t change anything, but it’s Mandatory, and it’s a free card!

As long as I am into Yu-Gi-Oh, I will keep trying to refine Magicians, even if it gets hit hard on the banlist in the future, which will sadly of course happen. This is what I do with my favorite decks, I try to evolve them and just continue to play them. Magicians, Lightsworn, Mermail are archetypes that I been playing for a long time, and will continue to.

can you please, expand a little bit and talk about other archetypes? i know the competitive aspect is very important but the world of yugioh is huge and has more than just the meta. there is Altergeist, Mermails, lightsworms ... even odd-eyes that have amazing competitive potential and i feel like they are just thrown aside until finally they become meta. i think it would be nice for some people who watch your channel to know about the potential in other archetypes.

other channels specialize in particular archetypes, & this channel also mostly focuses on the TCG while Mermails & Altergeist currently are only worth looking at in their current OCG incarnations, & Odd Eyes has a very large problem which is not being as good as standard Pendulum Magicians so that there's little reason to play them.

In the first combo you could have used purple poison and double iris to contact fuse into starving venom and have him copy the effects of electrumite

That final combo could have been even crazier if you wanted it to. With that hand it’s possible to end in double banished omega, timestar, decode with a supreme king starving venom as decode tribute fodder, Time pendulumgraph, star pendulumgraph, same scales and a joker, black fang, and double iris in hand for next turn.

Second combo instead of using tornado just make electrum again pop double iris search the same and add astrograph. But you get to send a cool card to the extra (literally anything you want, eccentric, a sloth, sorcerer etc) then summon the Astrograph grab a joker to hand or a copy of the card you sent. Finally use the new Astro and your electrum to make decode. Same result but you finish with an additional joker in hand (or a purple poison if you get frisky) and decode over the tornado.

First combo can be expanded. Instead of putting tuning magician send pendulum sorcerer. Oaf adds wisdom instead. You continue. When he activated the second double iris so u can pendulum you instead put wisdom activar setting double iris but you get to search beforehand. You pendulum summon the same except that you forgo a wisdom eye for a pendulum sorc popping a card and search Joker. Basically you trade wisdom eye for joker. If you are crazy you can also get two draws instead w/ guitar lizard draw but that might be too inconsistent. Instead of going with absolute you can make the rank 7 that summons tokens and start doing shananingans as well but that’s a little too much

How many times did Cimoo say "x's effect is not once per turn" (so let's use it again) Wish they were more careful with card design again, I personally liked the trend during Arc V of hard once per turns. Just trying to crack as many powerful once per turn effects as possible in 1 turn to get the most advantage possible

Combo: Duelist alliance, Skullcrobat Joker, Wisdom-Eye/Double Iris. Use alliance to search Star Pendulumgraph. Normal Skullcrobat, search the magician you don't have. Set scales, use Wisdom Eye to place Oafdragon. Star searches for Harmonizing. Pendulum Harmonizing and Wisdom Eye, use Harmonizing to summon basically any level four. Link Skullcrobat and Wisdom Eye into Electrumite, send Chronograph. XYZ Timestar, search for Odd-Eyes Dissolver. Use electrumite to destroy Double Iris, adding Chronograph, then use Chronograph to summon itself and Dissolver. You now have Time Pendulumgraph and an extra card. Use Dissolver to summon Vortex. Proceed to be able to bring it back later if you need to.

What's stupid is that you can easily combine both boards getting Norito and Vortex on the same board, with some specific hands you can add Tornado Dragon or any other Rank 4. I personally like Evilswarm Nightmare in the current format.

I never even touched chronograph or oardragon magician before. I assumed they were filler cards and never touched them. Seeing the combos and what not played out: Is there any room for Quintet Magician(ED) and Magicalize Fusion(MD) in your build somewhere? I really wanna build around that Boss Monster but I don't see any proper way beyond Pend Magis and Shaddol builds.

You can accomplish mostly the same combos with Supreme King Starving Venom as long as you don't need the extra monster loaded into the ED via the on link summon effect.

the chain blocking this deck is capable of really sucks for playing Vs them, you basically have to just demolish them via the inherent weaknesses of the pendulum mechanic or they run over everything, chaining to initial activations with veilers/ogres helps a little too but only a little

Need help understanding Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon. Does ‘you can only use each effect of this card once per turn’ refer to its summon effect and negation effect? Or is it simply distinguishing between each type of negation, Monster/ Spell and Trap. Any help is appreciated.

Each effect, summon and negate, the negation effect just lets you choose what you negate, but it's still a unique effect

In the last combo you can just use the 2 electrumite to go into decode. You treat one as a link 2 and the other as 1 monster and boom, ya boy decode
