I believe they stopped putting the cover-card on the front because opening the product often damaged it. In fact Master Hyperion once got a reprint soon after it's structure deck was released just because everyone's was damaged during the initial print-run of its structure deck.

You can't board wipe your opponents whole field, pair of darkness only lets you sacrifice one of your opponents monsters.

budget x3 build; ok so first, three plague wolf, really really broken, it can beat over garnet, it can beat over electrumite, it can crash into a minerva and blue sky, and it can beat over amano iwato, really solid staple card in every deck. Duke Shade, The Sinister Shadow Lord can't kaiju the entire field. Lair allows you to tribute 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field once per turn. Duke Shade is just a kaiju that summons itself to your side of the field instead of your opponents, as long as Lair of Darkness is on the field. A common misconception apparently, since I've seen quite a few people think that.

Silverfang 45 one turns stuff into dark attributes and can tribute alot and the other works with sending stuff to the grave then reviving it,so if you revive one thing then you can use the other for the virus cards or something else

Darth Dragonborn felgrand very rarely have monsters on board to tribute besides there level 4s (which you don’t really have room for in the hybrid build) as the level eight generally get summoned do there job of disrupting then they die

Ahrima and one other Dark monster equals Darkest Diabolos, even if it is added to your hand thanks to DD’s even if not card text. Tribute a dark monster using Ahrima, add Darkest Diabolos, start a new chain using Darkest after Ahrima’s effect resolves, Summon Darkest Diabolos. Easy.

that's twice I've seen this mistake can't wipe the whole field. Lair of Darkness has not only a ruling, but also says on the card that when you tribute monsters to activate an effect, you can tribute *one* monster your opponent controls, even though you do not control it (I'm glad they changed the wording on that, makes the Diabolos ruling actually make sense)

I actually really like this deck and wish I had the money to pick up three of them. I think some of the cards can be competitive like the trap Searcher and the field spell. Quick question: If lair of darkness is on your field, can you use it's effect to tribute an opponent's monster to activate darkest diabolos' effect? If so, can you activate diabolos' effect even if your opponent has no cards in their hand? I ask because if you can activate diabolos' effect solely to destroy an opponent's monster, that would really give you an advantage, especially if used against a boss monster.
