No one knows exactly how things will play out. We can say it will happen one way or the other, but it is no different then people thinking or hoping Bowers falls to 18. Or we move up to get him. Same with trading to get JJ. Yea very unlikely , but that is what we do in the off season try to have fun and hope.

I'm not sold on an undersized TE anyway. Dominating in college being small is one thing but show me his comp physically at TE in the NFL that is a game changer. If he makes it to 18 it's because the rest of the league isn't sold either.

Chris Simms has JC Latham S the number 1 OT in the draft. He has Joe Alt at number 2. I absolutely agree with him. He has Fashanu at 4 and Mimms are number 3. He says Mimms had the highest ceiling. Says his ceiling is so fucking high you need a telescope to see it. I am in complete agreement with him. Latham is the best and if he is there we should get him.

JC Latham played Right tackle for the last 2 years. Just answer me 1 question. Is the Bengals track record of getting left tackles in college and making them right tackles or guards? If you say good I’ll just say you are lying. Adeniji was a college left tackle only. Carman was a college left tackle only. Dante Smith was a college left tackle only. There are more too I know I’m forgetting more.

Look fashanu the report on him says he needs to gain weight has small hands and wing span is 82 5/8 fautanu has 81 1/2 wing span an fuaga who I really like has like 80 5/8 I believe wing span and a lot of shows I watch have these 3 guys playing guard and the top 3 tackles is alt Mims Latham size does make a difference arm length wing span even hand size I'm no expert but tell me 1 guy at tackle who's great or just a pro bowler who's under size and it's sure isn't Jonah Williams I don't ever remember him a pro bowler all the good & great tackles has everything weight arm length wing span everything

Only way I’m ok with a TE at 18 is if he’s a perfect prospect. Bowers isn’t even close. On top of it, he didn’t test. Bengals aren’t drafting him. Let’s move on. Obviously RT would be ideal. Under no circumstance should they entertain with moving him to guard.

Bowers I would only take if he falls to 49. There is no fucking way in hell I will EVER take a TE or a RB in round 1. If fucking Emmitt Smith was available in round 1 I wouldn’t take him unless he fell to round 2. Especially a top 20 pick. With a top 20 pick you had. Better get a OT or DT if you need one. We need both. I think it would be redirection of duty to pick Bowers in round 1. The absolute ONLY TE playing in the NFL right now that is worth a dam that was taken in round 1 is TJ Hockenson. That’s it. Kyle Pitts had over 1000 yards receiving and 1 td his rookie year and you know what? I haven’t heard his name since his rookie year. He disappeared. On a team with bad WRs he just disappeared. Point is the odds of getting a great game changing or hall of fame TE in round 1 is extremely LOW. Gronk 2nd round pick Lapaota 2nd round pick Whaller 6th round pick Kelce 3rd round pick Andrews 3rd round pick Kittle 5th round pick. Hockenson 1st round pick. Do you notice a trend there? And Hockenson isn’t all that either. Why? Because the Lions traded him! Can you see the Chiefs trading Kelce? Or the 49ers trading Kittle? How bout the Ravens trading Andrews? I can’t.
