I soooo agree. My last relationship lasted 10 years, he was 10 year's younger. He was 30 and I was 40 when we met. It was the most fun, adventurous relationship I'd ever had. We fell out of love at the end but remain friends. Im now 51, just ended a 8 month relationship with a 53 year old man who was an utter bore, grumpy and drank way too much. I've been online dating with older men in their 50's, and they're just so boring and way too serious. Definitely going back to younger!!

Just listened to this and I’m really grateful to hear of another woman who lives like this. I have been this way since I was in my early twenties but thought I had to do the whole relationship/marriage thing, so spent parts of the last 20years failing at being me. I’m back to myself again- not doing conventional relationships but have wonderful lovely relationships of respect and authentic (both sexual and platonic). Thankfully I do have a daughter who I have a healthy relationship and co-parent with her dad, and am supportive of my married friends and family that their choice is right for them. I’m so glad, I’m not the only one, so glad Cindy talks so openly, it’s great

It’s refreshing to see someone who is that unattached from what society expect. I like her confidence! On the other, hand STD are on the raise for older women. I do love myself too much to share my body with a stranger, who might have slept with so many women that are careless about their health. Better be single and choose abstinence instead of catching something. 🥴

Yes! Younger men DO want older women! I would get hit on by guys in their early 20s and I would tell them "honey, thats so sweet but Im late 40s" and instead of the kinda shocked "oh whoops" reaction Id expect they were so much more excited and interested. Most older women are just so comfortable being themselves, being assertive and honest enough that the young men know exactly where they stand with us. And no pressure to get married and have babies

I love the "self care" comment! I had a guy tell me that he is astonished I wake up looking effortlessly "pretty" in the morning. I'm 43 years old. I told him "Oh, that's because I've never been married and I don't have children." I never heard another woman say something similar until now! That's so great! Also, on the dating younger men front, we older women who have never been married and dont have children, tend to date younger because our same age dating pool is pretty small. Most relationship minded men our age are already in a committed relationships. Many men my age who are not in relationship, are not interested in relationships, or they have kids and ex-wives, and I find dating those men very difficult. They don't really have the time to date because they are busy co-parenting and raising children.

I have to stop watching this video as her perspectives in life doesn’t resonate in me especially dating casually or having sex casually. Or it is not something I would practice. I am open to the idea of dating younger men as well but not to the point where I have to keep my doors open whenever they decided to come back and let’s be so called friends. Why keep the past in your present and future if you don’t evolve and grow. I am single and content no need to re-open doors to people that will not serve your growth and vice versa. To each of its own.

I like this. I’m sure you’d agree that I feel she is oversimplifying, and more so, over-hyping this type of lifestyle. It has several adverse effects. But regardless, she’s found a way to detach from that. She’s a free spirit. She sounds liberal. And nothing wrong with it. As long as she’s happy within her architected reality and not harming others.

Men need to stop this narrative that we are ALL emotionally connected with men when we have sex. It’s not 100% true.. And you will be suprise finding out that some women are 1000% detached And for the casual sex, for the type of attachment you have it can be good or not. For an anxious attachment style it won’t work AT ALL trust me. So please her experience it has, and some will resonate with her but not many though.

Good for you 🎉..... But why does that mean she is spreading an awful message? What makes you think your way of life is the 'right' way? Why should we all be EXPECTED to want the same things in life? Not rhetorical questions, BTW. It's ok for people to want different things in life 😊

Well looking at how you "parents" have raised the future generations and been utterly selfish in the process, makes me ill. The most selfish, shallow people I know have children and husbands and wives who are quietly miserable. I'm pushed to see any marriage that appears healthy. You are trying to convince us or you?

That’s you though. I’m married but tbh if I hadn’t met my husband I wouldn’t be surprised if I’d gone down this path - I love him to pieces but not everyone meets the right person. I waited for a lifetime (it felt like) to meet him. So if someone wants to live life on their terms like this and most important BE HAPPY (and not harming anyone at all in the process) - good for them!!
