He can still appear against batfleck, being the original-terrifying-myth Joker that inspired the Jared's new age joker, hence the "joker" tattoos all over his body, he can be the "clown prince of crime" to Phoenix' "Killing joke" Joker. All it would take is one small scene of a really old-scary Phoenix within a deep level of Arkham Asylum staring into the darkness...smiling.

I think people fail to realize that in the killing joke, it’s hinted that the “backstory” is just another one of Joker’s stories. Hence him saying something similar to if he has a past, he’d rather have it be multiple choice.
@insolencestar5 жыл бұрын
I'm thinking this film might even border on Thriller. I think that the cinematography and the soundtrack are so reminiscent of the era. I just want this to be dark and intruiging.. and so incredibly sad. I think that that crude, crass imediance of Todd Philips and the beauty and the slow-build of the other guy's work, who's name I've forgotten, will mix to be a perfect ethos of insanity. as for the story, the joker was always the culmination of everything Gotham is, it's a caricature of everything wrong with Arkham and Gotham - and now we're getting to see why.

Leto's Joker is the Red Hood of the DCEU. The new Batman movie will be placed in the 90s and could be about a young Batman losing Robin to the dark side to this Joker. Because it's a standalone movie, wouldn't it be a dark twist in the narrative if the Joker actually murdered young Bruce Wayne instead of his parents?
