Hey guys, Sean Dove here back with another Cinema 4D quick tip. Today I wanted to look at how we can create this fun, cartoony, icing effect using some of the new tools in R20.
We’ll see how quickly it is to set up and be able to get it to sit nicely on our object we are icing. Of course we’ll then animate it on using the new fields system.

Thanks for the video. If anyone cant find the project spline in R21 at 6:46, I found it under the Spline menu on the top. Then Move>project.

10:15 in case youre working with R23 or maybe 22-21, just use SDF Smoothing for like 2-5 times instead for searching for the Radius, it might help a little excuse me for my poor language

I dont konw what is wrong here. I write the text but when i add the volume builder it doesn´t change at all. I had to drag the motext INTO the volume builder tab to get it affect the text but that seem to create a copy of the text

when i click on the mospline and then add a plain, the plain stays attached to the mospline whereas urs goes to the top, and if i move the plain to the top while moving the mospline back down, i then end up with the plain not really working and the animation going over an already laid set of icing ?? i am on mac and the most recent cinema 4d

When I move the icing above the camera like at 21:40 it moves the icing, but in the top down camera the icing it still visible >.< it's like it isn't moving at all. When I add the linear field and the keyframes, it just sends at a wave through the icing instead of dropping it on, because there is already icing on the donut, any help greatly appreciated.
