Curious...Let's say I have a simple flat cube extrusion in the shape of 12 inches in length, .25 inches wide, and .125 in thickness..basically long flat strip of material and I need to 'twist' it 3 times in the middle only about total of 1" worth of 'twists"...any thoughts? thanks
@DIGITALMEAT2 жыл бұрын
You could just use the twist deformers falloff to achieve what you are describing. But you will need enough subdivisions / polys at the twists location, to describe the twist properly.

Hmm, You say is a simple setup the plane the camera the lights the materials and what settings in view port but is not true, I am new to C4D and i will love if you make a video no how you setup things in this video from start to the look you got when you start this tutorial. I know i am asking a lot but if will help a grate deal to me and i am sure to others. Hope you can help me or maybe you can put a link to the scene files so that i can try to understand how it works.

Would you know what to do if the deformers don't show up in the picture render, only in the viewport render (Cmd+R)? Any help would be much appreciated.

Wow such a great tutorial again ! Will be able to export that in Unity ? Don't seem that "formula" is recongnized in it...
@JordEmery5 жыл бұрын
I have my answer. Unity does not support PLA, and even with Mega Fiers it seems difficult... I will find other animations ^^

@@JordEmery - unity will not play back these animations because it doesn't understand what c4d deformers are, they need to be baked down to keyframes.
