In this tutorial, you'll make your very own disco mirror ball. You'll use surface caustics to create the realistic light dots that it results in.
First of all, you'll create a sphere and bevel its polygons to give us the disco ball.
Next, you'll create Target Spot Lights and aim them at the ball.
Finally, you'll enable caustics in both the Lights and the Render Settings to allow Cinema 4D to create those dancing light beams that sparkle around the walls.
