I just love the story of how they got Patton Oswalt to be in this. I mean.....I guess it's a simple story: his daughter liked MLP, so he guest starred in it. But when he came back with his family in Season 9, his daughter had grown out of MLP and had gotten into Marvel. That made me laugh cause I was thinking "Wow, she grew out of MLP so fast!" I mean.....she was around 7 when Season 6 aired and around 10 during Season 9.

To this day, Stranger Than Fan Fiction remains as one of my all time favorite RD/Daring Do episodes especially since Patton Oswalt guest starred for the episode, his performance as Quibble Pants was just brilliant Patton's voice fit the character all too perfectly, and as for the plot of the episode i found it pretty interesting but not too surprising that there were Daring Do conventions and the fact that RD was trying to convince a skeptic fan that Daring Do is real kinda sounded like something she would do.

The idea is good but the actual adventure plot is too generic and Daring Do isn’t very interesting here. It’s not bad but it’s pretty uneven in it’s appeal.

I used to recap the show and I am absolutely apalled that I entirely missed, and to be fair on myself I've never heard anyone else call it out before either, the convention pot dealer. That's an absolutely brilliant spot, and equally sneaky brilliant on the part of the show.

I actually didn't find Quibble that annoying, and I hate those types of characters who act ignorant and don't listen to others, but let me explain. If a random person (or pony) who you just could into a fight about how one of the books you read we're terrible, and the next thing you know you get placed into a situation similar to the series you are reading, AND with the literal villain characters, AND you get kidnapped with the exact person you were fighting...Yeah, most people would get the point from here now. Quote: "Fame and Misfortune was actually Hasbro's idea, not the writers. Larson said the original idea for the episode was for Pinkie to write a book under a psuedonym, but people who didn't like her book gave out overly extreme criticism that attacked her instead of her writing. It would end with a moral on how when you criticize something, you have to remember that there's a person with feelings on the other side and you need to take that into account before you say something hurtful. Hasbro, however, didn't like the idea and wanted to turn it into another meta humor episode, this time ripping on critical bronies. And, well, the writers couldn't do anything to object. Iirc, Larson even publicly disowned the episode, and said Slice of Life is a far more accurate representation of how the staff feels about the fandom than Fame and Misfortune."

OMG! I talked about this Patton Oswalt stuff with Andrea Libman at the 2019 Brony Con! I best know him for playing Remy from Ratatouille, who used to be Rat #1 before he was given a name, and his brother Emile was Rat #2. Patton Oswalt voiced Franz in the Gravity Falls episode The Golf War, and I had an internal flashback of that episode when I watched The Missing Links of Moorshire, in which Tara Strong voiced Briar and Andrea Libman voiced Bramble. As it turns out, Andrea's part with Tara in The Missing Links of Moorshire reminded both her and me of Patton Oswalt's part in The Golf War! 😀 April 4, 2022, 10:15pm

In my school vr game goalius was mentioned in a temple Pacificly the heavens stairs ( it a very cool temple where it has you as a galahorn archaeologist go through it with guardians and a trial against a living statue of goalius and it ended with the statue taking the archaeologist and her guards to the treasure room which was unexpectedly og goalius behemoth blade and Shield shades kimerion Kai black dragon sniper rifle and peludium prime staff and the merual showed goalius to tower over peludium prime and shade fighting against sg shade the last campaign main antagonist ) and when it was shown in a picture of the investigation it caused a massive political war in galahorn and goalius was found in Equestria fucking heavily injured by both tekkadon and mech offscrean and celestia and Luna where tied up on there thrones Knocked out so add 1 sun for goalius incorrect size 5 for the gigaverse being full of drooling morons and add 2 sins for Celestia and Luna's uselessness

when you asked for a explanation on why quibble looks like daring do i thought twins separated at birth. think about it. cutie marks can be depicted to be similar occupation and they look similar like twins do and they can be siblings and be different pony types. we have never seen their parents as well so one of them could be a pegusas there fore making one of them a pegusas and i mean we've seen different pony types with the cake twins. and they seem and look like they are the same age so it could be possible that they are twins separated when they were born. do you think that i could be right with that? i mean we've never seen their parents at all or know about their past either.
