Me too, Andrew is my favourite portrayal of spidey despite the dud plots and his chemistry with Gwen is part of the appeal for me. I loved they showed the weight of her death on him. Spider Gwen being alive could be brutal for him.

I grew up with Tobey and I still really liked Tom but Andrew's always been my favourite. The scene with the boy on the bridge is one of my favourites. Out of the three of them, he's the only one who quips how spidey's supposed to. I really wish the movies did him justice, I mean he was honestly the best part of NWH for me.

Andrew Garfield underrated as hell. The actors were fantastic in these 2 movies and I thoroughly enjoyed how they were acted out. The scripts DEFINITELY needed another editing, and the 2nd movie needed to NOT remove over 45 minutes of plot relevant scenes that added a LOT to the story.

Yeah. I watched this on a rented DVD from a Family Video at some lady friends' house. The three of them had a little red wine. I had a little whiskey. Me and one of them took a break from the movie. We finished the movie later. Then I went room to room all night. Left for Afghanistan the next week. Much better times. I can't think about this film without a chub.

The reason why the original trilogy and TASM1 were memorable, was because of the producer LAURA ZISKIN It was because of her and her husband (the screenwriter Alvin Sargent) that the movies had depth She was the only one capable to tell AVI ARAD when to back off Unfortunately, she died in 2011, during the production of TASM1 Without her, there was no one to stop Arad from destroying the franchise Spiderman was nothing without her

wow this re-sin made me realize that officer stacy never actually told peter to break up with gwen. He was just telling him to leave her out of the spiderman stuff like when she made the serum. hell, if she stayed out of the electro stuff she wouldn't have died so he was right in the end. I guess he could be blamed for not being super clear about it, but I'll give him a pass since he had like 1-4 holes in his torso by that point.

I was 16-17 years old when this was released. And, when the 1st film in the Toby Maguire Spider Man was released, I do remember that comic book films at the time weren’t the popular successes they are nowadays. Back then, due to their poor track record in previous years and decades they were seen as critical and box office poison. However, I became a fan of comic book films and tv shows early on in my life through watching Marvel and DC comics animated series that were in original and repeat airings on tv, watching their live action films in theaters, and playing their tie in video games on the Game Boy, Game Cube, PlayStation 2, and original Xbox consoles.

I don't get the sins for the crane operator being the kid's dad. Peter probably saved a bunch more people from fires and carjackings and whatever in the time it took The Lizard to origin story himself. It's just that *that* kid's dad would be relevant later, so he's the one who was shown on screen. That's called foreshadowing, which is an actual plot device and is not *always* a reason to roll the sin counter. ALSO, one big sin on Cinemasins for missing that very final line between Peter and Gwen. There have GOT to be better ways to un-break-up with your girlfriend than to mock the *actual dying words* of her father who died like TWO DAYS AGO.
