I am so disappointed in season 2, it seems like a completely different show. they completely ignored the source material, screwed with Hyunsu as a character and honestly just seemed to create a lot of plotholes for themself to fix in season 3? I really don't see how they can tie it all up in a proper manner. My only hope is that they bring in some of the plot from Shotgun Boy

Yeah, but in terms of where the show is going, showing how some things are deviating and changing the story, it makes sense. Different takes on characters and new situations (sometimes bad in terms of writing) are happening. I will say though that Hyunsu not caring more for his previous friends (since that's one of the reasons he didn't turn) and instead hanging out with Mittens and some of the other monsters is kinda frustrating. Tho seeing Shotgun Boy in here would be really good.

Honestly, this season was very disappointing. It deviates so much from the source material, and is weaker as a result. Not only that, Hyun Su didn’t even really feel like a main character. Season two felt like a very different show. Disappointing af. Terrible writing, meaningful deaths made meaningless because of the way they were executed, Hyunsu has little to no Screentime, horrible plot holes, a lack of comedy (season one balanced the ugly with comedy, which is a very human thing to do), there was cool moment with them 2 songs (Side By Side and Warriors), they took all the things that balanced and elevated the show away.... plus they showed unnecessary nudity/fanservice, like wtf? Even the way it was filmed didn't feel as polished... they made some characters miserable till death and I hated that as well... terrible writing and directing choices, man.

@@hatems3311from what we've seen that's only possible through Mittens (the girl). Aside from that, no. You get the virus through your desire, if it's strong enough you'll get monsterize. As the video explained, if you resist that strong desire when your symptom is acting up for 15 days then you become a hybrid. And you know desires... very hard to resist.

It doesn't really count as a gut instinct when you already know its a zombie/monster/plague movie. A stadium full of refugees WILL ALWAYS devolve into insane chaos, because it is a movie. You'd also have a strong instinct to stay away from a seemingly perfect refuge precisely because those refuges are ALWAYS based on cannibals, or rape cults, or something evil, in movies. Going to the stadium would be the best thing you could do to survive if it wasn't designed specifically to get torn down in spectacular fashion. There is a difference between "here are the signs of something ominous you can see for yourself and how to avoid it..." and "You know what happens when the protagonists visit large sanctuaries at about the halfway mark of a zombie movie's runtime..."
